About The Event
The Boyle organises two ABL Courses each year for students in Years 11-13.  The demand is high........parents and teachers are encouraged to ring the Boyle now to book in their students.Â
These residential courses are organised in the school holidays with students from a variety of schools participating. The course provides students with the opportunity to experience Adventure Based Learning in a mountain environment. There is a strong focus on personal and social development through participation in outdoor activities. A more detailed description of what ABL is can be found here.
This course is also suitable for Gold Residential participants
Â
Students will set and review personal and group goals, challenge themselves, develop self-confidence and a feeling of self worth. This is an ideal course to develop team work and can lead on to our Potential Leaders Course at a later date.
Students will gain some insight into the world of work for those employed as outdoor instructors. They will be introduced to the tertiary pathways that lead to a career in outdoor education, adventure tourism and outdoor recreation.
We are also able to organise single school ABL courses on request at other times. Please contact us for more details.
