Nestled between the Syliva Tops and the Libretto Range, our centre is a great place to bring school or community groups, for a corporate retreat, or simply to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Accommodation

The main building, known as The Lodge, sleeps 64 people through platform-type bunkrooms (the size varies from 4 to 20 in each bunkroom) and one two-bunk staff room. All bunks have matresses, however you will need to bring your own linen/sleeping bag. Everything is electrically heated with night store heaters.

Cooking

The spacious kitchen, part of the open plan dining hall, contains gas and electric cooking facilities, ample refrigeration and freezer space and all the necessary cooking and serving utensils to cater for up to 70 people. The kitchen is also equipped with a sterilizer.

 

Dining/Lounge

The lounge, which is fully carpeted, is equipped with stacking chairs and folding tables enabling multi use.

It is also equipped with a data projector for presentations, slideshows, or movies via your own laptop. We also have a DVD/VCR connected and the space is also great for group discussions, games, study and lectures. A small library occupies one corner.

Ablutions

There are separate male and female toilets, showers and basins and also a dual-purpose staff/disability area.

Drying Room

A large drying room for wet gear operates between 11pm and 6am when needed.

Teaching Aids

White board, data projector, overhead projector, reference books, video/DVD player, and small selection of videotapes are provided.

Outdoor Activites

We have a wide range of outdoor activities available, however these will usually require you to hire an instructor to run them. If you are interested in adding some ropes course elements, some team activites or would like to know what else we can offer please contact us.

First Aid

The usual emergency first aid equipment including stretchers is provided.
